These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Berry Co Home Loans website, calculator, articles and other website content. Berry Co Home Loans is a trading name of K2020187850 (South Africa). By using the website, you agree to these terms.

It is not legal, tax or financial advice and should not be treated as a guarantee that a home-loan application will be approved, that a particular amount will be granted, or that a particular interest rate or bank outcome will be achieved.

3. Affordability calculator

The Home Loan Affordability Calculator provides estimates only. The 30% gross-income figure is a rule of thumb and is not a bank approval calculation. Actual affordability is determined by the banks using their own credit criteria, affordability assessments, policies and the information supplied in an application.

Transfer duty, Deeds Office levies, attorney fees, bank fees and related costs may change and may differ from the calculator. Calculator figures exclude provisions for levies, municipal rates, electricity, water and insurance unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Home-loan applications

Submitting information to Berry Co Home Loans does not constitute approval of a home loan and does not create an obligation on any bank to grant finance. Bank decisions, conditions, valuations, rates and final offers remain subject to the relevant bank's assessment and approval processes.

5. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the website and calculator useful and reasonably accurate, but information, bank criteria, fees, interest rates, laws and market conditions can change. We do not warrant that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every user or transaction.
